are all the nfl owners white

I often think of the NFL owners as a bunch of old white dudes in suits. No surprise really when you look at the numbers, out of 31 NFL teams, 28 are owned by white men. I’ve often found myself wondering, when it comes to the big sports leagues, why aren’t there more Black and non-white owners? It’s been in almost every news cycle for years, why isn’t anything being done about it?

I remember the first time I heard about this. A former cheap nfl jerseys player, Michael Strahan, was speaking to a reporter about the lack of diversity among NFL owners. He was articulating the issue with a level of emotion that seems to have sparked conversation across the nation. That sentiment has been echoed by many other people of color within the NFL.

So why isn’t anything being done about it? Why aren’t opportunities being offered to those who are qualified and suitable for ownership? Sure, there is the Rooney Rule which requires teams to interview at least one non-white candidate for a coaching position. But what about ownership? I’m sure there are African-American and non-white people that are qualified and would be amazing owners.

The NFL itself has taken some steps towards making changes for diversifying ownership, cheap nfl jerseys but nothing substantial. They’ve taken the steps of creating the Diversity and Inclusion Program which offers long-term support and resources to help institutions offer more opportunities to minority-owned businesses in the industry. This is a great start, but it isn’t enough, it still seems like the majority of the owners are white and not enough people from outside of the league are being invited in.

Then there is the issue of how hard it is to become an NFL owner in the first place. You have to have a substantial amount of capital in order to purchase even a piece of a team. But with the current inequality and cheap jerseys from china unfair banking practices, minority-owned businesses often don’t have the same level of support that white-owned businesses have in order to secure the necessary capital. Therefore, obtaining an ownership stake in the NFL is extremely difficult for cheap nfl jerseys jerseys from china Black and non-white people, and it depresses me to think about the lack of diversity among NFL owners.

I don’t think anyone can deny the importance of having diversity across the NFL. It not only allows for cheap nfl jerseys more people to have access to the success that comes with owning an NFL team, it also emphasizes the fact that America is a diverse nation and we should be represented tastefully and accurately across sports. I would love to see more Black and wholesale nfl jerseys from china non-white owners to help bring league ownership closer to the percentage of African-Americans playing in the NFL.

I often think of the NFL owners as not only powerful men and wholesale nfl jerseys from china women, but also as representatives of the diversity of America. It’s time for more non-white people to be given an opportunity; to have access to this elite ownership and taste the success that comes with it. It’s time for the NFL to take action and open the doors of ownership to more people from diverse backgrounds and colors; to show that everyone has an equal place in the league and that everyone should be represented accurately.

The NFL can make a statement by truly embracing diversity and allowing more non-white people to participate in ownership. Actions speak louder than words, and this is the perfect time for the NFL to open more doors for Hispanics, wholesale jerseys African-Americans, wholesale nfl jerseys from china and Non-white people across the country. If the NFL truly values its players, then more should be done to make sure that all owners have an equal opportunity at success.
